At Eqwal, we are committed to giving a second life to prosthetics that are no longer used by our practices. With this goal in mind, Eqwal US has entered a partnership with the NGO ROMP (Range of Motion Project), an organization that provides prosthetic care to patients in Guatemala and Ecuador, where access to such equipment is limited.
Thanks to this collaboration, our prosthetic components are collected by our practices and then sent to a ROMP warehouse. There, each product is carefully inspected, cleaned, and refurbished before being sent to partner clinics in Guatemala and Ecuador.
ROMP retrieves various essential components, including feet, knees, liners, rotating adapters, and all pediatric parts, enabling many patients to regain a better quality of life.
We are proud to support this wonderful initiative and make a tangible impact on access to orthopedic care in these parts of the world.
